Mission: Paul George Elite Basketball's mission is to provide an exceptional personal development experience through the game of basketball for youth by teaching the values of hard work, accountability, team play, competitiveness, and sportsmanship. We will provide comprehensive programs that help all student-athletes, from beginners to elite national-level players, become the best players and people they can be.
Goals: To provide a positive culture where all children feel valued and supported through challenges and adversities as well as their greatest accomplishments. The P.G.E. program seeks to establish itself as the best basketball program in the region and nation.
Success Model: We will measure our success directly to our belief in individual player skill development, providing opportunities for each player to play “creatively” and “instinctually” with confidence while teaching concepts on how to best implement their individual talents and strengths within a team structure. Our program model is to create teams that make us most competitive and put each player in the best position to develop and succeed. We understand the importance of playing and will make sure each player is given a role that can help their team and most importantly their development.
Program Financial Commitment $395.00 (annual): Participating with a club takes a commitment from both the parents and the players and coaches and staff. We require all players and families to make a one-time annual commitment ($395.00) to show their investment and dedication to the program. This fee covers your uniform package and helps cover the cost for coaches, gym rental fees, insurance, and miscellaneous events that your athlete will participate in throughout the season. We appreciate your support and belief in our program.
Team Commitment: Both the “Select” and “Elite” team’s expectations are the same. All players must commit to a full club year (September 1st – August 15th) of participation in the club – this includes prioritizing our program. Both teams will have similar schedules except for a few select events.
Monthly Club Fee: $175 per month (Due on the first practice of each month) 1st Payment (Oct-1st)
Tournament and Events: The number and cost of leagues, tournaments, and travel a team participates in will be 12-14 events a year. Event calendar to be provided by
Program Essentials:
• 1- 2 Practices per week (end) skill development sessions
• 3-4 late winter/early spring tournaments
• 8-12 late spring/summer Tournaments
• Season runs from September 1st, 2023, to August 1st, 2024
Sponsorship Teams: We will have sponsorship for our 8th-grade team. We will provide the platform for players our staff feels are ready to compete on the national and elite levels. We will maximize exposure for all our players and teams by seeking to gain recognition from media, scouting services, and other outlets and beneficial platforms.
Our goal is to prepare every kid in our program to at some point be ready for this level and have the opportunity to compete on the highest level. We will hold all of our teams to the highest standard regardless. We believe this will create great competition from within and also allow us to have two high-level teams and coaches. This method also allows some flexibility with moving players around while still developing preparing players and teams who may need a little more time to develop a chance to. This model creates an incentive to work hard to make “Elite” teams while still playing high-level basketball. We believe “iron sharpens iron.” Having talent on both teams will prepare all teams to face high-level competition. Preparing them for the challenges they will ultimately face in high school and beyond.
Best Regards-
